6 Great Reasons To Join Us

The Boston Repertory Orchestra is unique - it is Boston's only reading only orchestra. Open reading sessions are held every Thursday night in Harvard Square. The sessions are open to skilled players from the area. The level of playing is very good and it's a great chance to brush up on  your sight reading.

We play different pieces from the standard orchestral repertoire every week. The environment is friendly, welcoming, and fun!

What Our Players Say About Us:

"I've been playing the French Horn for nearly 50 years  and I've never had so much artistically rewarding fun!"

R. Schwenterly, Horn

"I have rarely enjoyed a reading repertory orchestra so much..."

S. Guterman, Wellesley Symphony Orchestra
